The British Library is not only the national library of the United Kingdom but also one of the world’s greatest academic institutions. Opened in 1998, the library is now hailed as a great triumph of design and technology as well as one of the greatest repositories of library materials which include over 150 million items, with some material dating from 3000 years ago. The British Library’s state of the art Conference Centre has its own private entrance from the Piazza and offers exceptional and flexible facilities for conferences, meetings, product launches, lectures, private screenings and media events. An impressive staircase leads from the manned reception area with dedicated cloakroom to the upper level and a lift for wheelchair access to the upper floor. This, combined with a full team of onsite technical expertise, ensures world-class delivery. In addition, there are five comfortable and individually designed meeting rooms allowing for 8-80 delegates. All rooms have natural daylight, electronic blackout blinds, climate control and sound proofing. The Foundling Museum tells the story of the Foundling Hospital, London's first home for abandoned children and of three major figures in British history: its campaigning founder the philanthropist Thomas Coram, the artist William Hogarth and the composer George Frideric Handel. This remarkable collection of art, period interiors and social history is now housed in a restored and refurbished building adjacent to the original site of the Hospital, demolished in 1928. Feliks Topolski’s eyewitness record of the twentieth century, depicts the iconic historic figures and the significant political and social events spanning nine decades. The Topolski Century is an evocative space that is ideal as an out of the ordinary location to hold events. The gallery is split into three arches. Two arches house the Topolski Century painted panels; the smaller Arch act as an education room as well as displays Topolski’s on-the-spot observations, sketches which form the substance of 2000 a hand-printed broadsheets, ‘The Chronicles’ that were produced between 1953 and 1982.

The venue stretches over two floors with an exclusive entrance, private bar and large windows overlooking Soho. The Gallery Soho can be hired on a dry hire basis where we simply provide the venue or our on-site events team can fully cater for your event. The venue’s ideal central London location has great transport links making easy access for clients. Arranged over two floors, different event requirements can be catered for on different levels of the building. Each floor has a maximum capacity of 150 people which allows us to cater for both small and large events by opening up different parts of the building. The gallery has a fully equipped on site kitchen and bar, HD projector and Bose sound system. Our onsite events team, work closely with our clients to tailor the venue to suite each event’s particular requirements.
